As a workaround - you can create a new profile with brightness set to 0 and
reduced screen polling cycle. Then set xbmc to use new profile when movie is
stopped

This issue about XBMC plugin, not Lightpack software. Will add this feature,
but with low priority. You can try to modify it by yourself, it's simple and
can be done faster.

Does anyone have any idea how you'd actually go about "setting xbmc to use new
profile when movie is stopped"? I don't know of any way to tell XBMC to control
lightpack other than the GUI for the plugin.
