intensity controle doesn't behave as expected

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Set mode to Mood lamp
2.check constant colour and go in the options of that
3.on the very right side there is the intensity controle for the light

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It behaves like a contrast modulator. --> the brightness did't change, therefor 
the colour gets more and more white. I would expect it would get darker.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
5.9.6 on Windows

Please provide any additional information below.

what do you mean saying "intensity control for the light"? there is "overall 
brightness" slider on the Device tab, and there is no any "intensity control 
for the light"
