Starting issues #1

Here are a few ideas from the first chats.

  1. Create a dataset of available software in the inventory/BOM/PLM software space (already working on it https://github.com/mid-size/list
  2. Create a simple, accessible website that shows that list and contains some general, unbiased info about terminology that can be linked when general issues pop up
  3. Promote usage of the KiCad ODBC and HTTP Libary Database standard
  4. Promote or create a general standard for defining project source metadata
  5. Create a dataset of sources for electronic component data (think DigiKey, Mouser, TME), their terms and software that already implements it (F/OSS)
  6. Create or promote an open, OSS-compatible dataset of electronic components (idea by @jbtronics)
