A standard, versioned REST API that can be used by OSS PLM solutions to integrate physical devices such as: -scanners -counter -scales -instruction manual navigators This standard should be published as a html doc site and a OpenAPI spec file.

Each type should have a dedicated url (from a flexible base url, with support for subdirs ) and support at least basic and token auth. A json schema should be linked in responses
