Correct errors in Basics chapter #29

Minor formatting issues fixed, and slices example corrected.

While reviewing this chapter, I noted "Figure 2" in this section should actually refer to "Figure 1" as the actual figure is correctly labelled

Figure 2 shows the creation of an array,...

but wasn't sure how to resolve that, as the figure numbering is automatic.
