Plugin Request - Minus #77

Minus is a free file sharing website, recently new from what I can see and it's not hard to upload and share music. Please look into the site as I am sure it wouldn't be too incredibly hard to make a plugin so we can stream from Minus.

Most websites that host music allow for the file to be up to 20 MB but Minus allows for the file to be 2 GB in size!

know this service but didn't thought about it as mp3 provider. will investigate.

The plugin could open up a whole division of downloading features, not just music. Mielophone would need some features added into it to be able to handle or emulate this plugin correctly because Minus is an open file sharing source obviously. A full integrated login to Minus, threw Mielophone, this would be pretty amazing and resourceful yet now that I think of it, this might be more of a challenge that I had previously thought. This would overall be worth it yet it may be a difficult to do, I'm really unsure. Basically, this would allow for Mielophone to be an unofficial file sharing tool via the plugin via Minus. We would be able to search for any file and view it or play it, including video files.

Would you need permission from Minus to integrate this into Mielophone?

that's way too generic for a simple music tool :) searching-playing mp3s from there (if it's possible) is ok, but anything beyond music - it's already not mielophone
