How do I actually create Anki cards? #44

Which part of the extension is it related to? Chrome extension and Anki Add-on.

What are you trying to do?

I am trying to create Anki cards using the extension. I select the text and hit create Card but all the Anki cards are completely blank. Am I missing something? I am not very good at tech and this entire process has been frustrating. It doesn't actually do anything except create blank cards. All the fields are blank. Should the fields have something in them? Is this supposed to be automatic? I hope so because it is the reason I bought the extension.

I'm getting similar issues, it seems to be quite temperamental.

I think the first time I tried to create a card the card editor popped up, and after I selected the correct card type from the dropdown it automatically filled the fields. (maybe it should select the migaku card type by default?)

Since then, it just opens the card editor, the fields are all empty.. but it does seem to be creating the card in anki.. it just isn't giving me an opportunity to edit it.

Edit: Turns out I had the "automatically create cards" checkbox ticked. That explains everything.
