request sort by esrb rating #297

Don't know if it's easily implemented, but I think it a better option than
atleast 2 that are available currently by pressing B & +

Is it possible to sort gamelist by grabbing esrb rating from .xml or .db ?

Also as it is 'by last played' (pressing B & +) is not really required is it?
as wiiflow defaults to that already, and by game ID?

You can do it yourself by changing the categories.ini to include the ESRB
ratings. It says that in the WiiFloWiki:
http://sites.google.com/site/wiiflowiki/configuration/categories-ini

So I don't think this is necessary, but I think it is possible using the
WiiTDB.zip/WiiTDB.xml.

That's where I've probably got totally confused.. I've never used 'catagories'
- is it related to pressing B & + on the wiimote (providing you've set it in
the .ini).

I was thinking sorting 'by game id' and 'by last played' could be replaced by '
by ESRB rating' and 'by genre' according to what is in wiitdb.xml (or .db) .
Maybe I'm rambling mentalness.

Well, this certainly is possible, but getting "extra" information increases the
loading time.

I would rather have this setup as filters though: filter on playercount, esrb
rating, controller type, etc. etc. etc.

i think filters would be very usefull, i.e. if you want to see all games that
support balance board or at least 2 players or motion plus and so on.
