Different "themes" for each category #441

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Perhaps not a full theme, but rather a custom background image for each
category and perhaps custom coverflow settings. This would make for a more
visual determination of which category you are in.

not happy with what you already got, eh? resources are precious in wiiflow, so
adding all kinds of new backgrounds and shit is just silly. we have been adding
for so much form lately its time for some function. no matter how nice we make
wiiflow look we must always maintain function > form.

It isn't silly at all. This is a seperate feature but it was meant to be in
conjunction with issue 440. New boxes might require a new look. I don't see
how it could take up any resources at all to be honest. When you switch a
category you ditch the current background a load a new one. All that is
required is a simple file check when you enter a new category.

I also find it a little odd that I'm being harrassed for wanting to add
"unnecessary" features when stuff like fanart and video previews have already
been added. I thought the whole idea of wiiflow was to have a loader that
looks nice?

I agree 100% with the function bit, that is exactly why I suggested it. As of
now there isn't a indicator of what category you are in, if you are in a
category, how to get out ect... As a matter of fact, as of now there isn't any
indcator of how to change categories and pressing B on the favorites icon isn't
intuitive at all.
