Installing Game Error #536

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Please remember: do NOT enter issues on non released version. If you
downloaded a revision which you got from the IRC, or which you compiled
yourself, you can tell us all about the issue in IRC. This page is only for
released versions of Wiiflow. Every issue about a non-released version, will be
marked Invalid (Please remove this text before submitting)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Older wbfs files are off my USB drive to free up maximum space for the moment
2.Pop in wii discs (tried Muramasa and SSBB)
3.Attempt to install to 16gb USB drive

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Installation quickly, in the case of Muramasa, gives an "Error has occured"
message, and, in the case of SSBB, stalls at 70%.
SSBB I'm not surpised, its always been troublesome to install as it is a dual
layer, but with Hermes and d2x all updated, this shouldn't happen. Muramasa is
a simple and small game and should just install like my other discs do. The
game does play fine from the regular Wii disc loader; no disc read errors that
I've come across.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using Wiiflow 3.0 with Hermes and d2x cIOS installed, Wii is 4.3u.
USB drive is 16gb FAT format.

Please provide any additional information below.
I have been able to install games from the 2.1 version without a problem, but
when I tried to do SSBB, I got to 70% and it stalled. Did some research,
learned about dual layer discs and their troubles, so I went and did a full
update to 3.0 and installed a few cIOSs. New Wiiflow works great with old wbfs
files, but doesn't like my old channel, oh well. I have also removed the
wiiflow.ini file and the config.ini files from my SD card that loads the app.
If this is not a defect, then there is something wrong elsewhere in the line,
because I could not find a single instance of this in a dozen different forums.

Update: SSBB installed fine on a larger USB drive. Mine was being fussy.
However, I'm still getting no results with Muramasa. I've read that the "Error
has occurred" thing could come from the cache not keeping up... Not sure how to
fix this.
