The purpose of this project is to develop a relational database for the sport of swimming in the NCAA. The database consists of tables that contain data of swimmers, universities, coaches, meets, events, results, records, conferences, pool facilities, and divisions. Each table is connected to other through relationships to allow for efficient data retrieval. By organizing this data in a structured and efficient way, we can gain insights into athlete performance, team rankings, and historical trends.
