As per 
http://google-opensource.blogspot.ca/2015/03/farewell-to-google-code.html , 
code.google.com has already stopped accepting new projects, will go read-only 
in August 2015, and offline in Jan 2016.

fowsr will need a new collaborative code hosting + development platform, EG 
sourceforge or github, other ideas welcome, "discuss"   :-)

Maybe github is the simplest solution since you have only to push a button
