Live terminal configuration: turning off the Live background does not have any effect. #42

~1. Going from live to solid does not work.~ ~2. Sometimes doing that, will stop the animation, but the background remains~ ~3. Once it stops, it no longer resumes~ ~4. Solid background never seems to go active.~

Ok, a few bug fixes later, and some more details:

  1. Starting from solid, and trying to switch to Live, does not work, so the metal layer is not being added.
  2. Clearing of the content is not taking place, because the layer is not cleared, but it is still present.
