Agree. Calling it bookmarking may get around Twitter-itus. Saving, liking, starring, +'ing, hearting all work just fine too.
+1 "there are things people say which I like, but which I don't want to retweet/spam my followers with"
Yes, we do need it! :+1:
I wonder if we could generalize this to: Please let me refer to the twist by @username
where k == somenumber
. The UI can then use this in a number of ways, e.g. storing favorite twists in localStorage, or providing a way to link to an arbitrary twist (and with “link” I mean withing the twister network, not link in the www sense).
Yes bookmarking, which can mean I read it, I like it or with allows me to refer to it. But than we also need a bookmark list.
Agree, but I suggest making the favorite action not publicly visible. The psychological effect of visible 'likes' is a deplorable one, as many studies on Facebook have shown.
It occurred to me that while the feature is planned (or at least mocked up) there was no ticket to go with it. So here we go, the favorite feature needs to be implemented. I suppose it should do that in a privacy respecting but non-ephemeral way.
