Good idea, it'll be in next release of the multiplatform desktop app. Maybe, in
future we can modify the android app to not even send contact details on
private mode.

IMHO keeping the option only on the desktop app is simplest and less confusing
for the user. Also, if this is a protection for the display, it makes sense to
be on the side that displays it.

I believe private mode should be initiated from the phone or at least locked on
the desktop app. The whole idea is to hide the information for privacy reasons,
but anyone can enable it if they have access to the computer.

I think the phone should have this option too so we can remove it from the

Also, the battery level notification should be always visible our at least
appear as an independent option, as it's not as confidential as texts/calls.
