While parsing a protocol message, the input ended unexpectedly in the middle of a field

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Sending any kind of notification (including a test notification) from the 
handset to the PC.

What is the expected output?
I expect to see a Growl Notification.

What do you see instead?
An Windows error message (see attached) as well as the Growl Notification.

What version of the product are you using?
Desktop App 0.5.1
Android App 0.2.8

On what operating system?
Android 2.2.1.

HTC Desire HD

I was previously using this with a UK T-Mobile G1 (HTC Dream) and had no 
problems whatsoever. I am using Wifi as the notification reception method. The 
messages are encrypted and I have set the desktop app to only receive 
notifications from my specific handset.
