Sweet tool, Mike! I'd love to hear the specific itch you were trying to scratch.

I have a couple of quick thoughts, but I don't think all of them are necessary or relevant or useful depending on your use case. They're just what occurred to me as I use it.

Serious ideas:

Nice-to-haves:

Thanks Stephen! It should already be possible to type values into the white boxes, if that's what you mean? Blending mode is super interesting, SVG supports a lot of the basics. Color deficiency is not a thing I've thought about even though I'm weak in R/G, good idea.

The itch I was trying to scratch: I haven't had access to Photoshop in a while, and I missed its color picker with different spaces. I’ve been making do with web tools like David Johnstone’s gradient tool but wanted something that would let me compose a palette spatially. Mostly I'm doing this for simple web projects and choropleths; I tend to start with Solarized or Cindy Brewer’s palettes, but they can get stale too.

Sweet! This is where I was suggesting to type in values: image

RE: Photoshop - have you checked out Affinity? They have a raster and vector program that are definitely worth the one-time cost https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/

Ah those values, okay. Affinity looks pretty good. I’ve been using Sketch for vector graphics and layouts which I've mostly enjoyed.
