SonoAir Alternative or Latest Version #36

please can someone confirm latest version of SonoAir, and if known, an alternative? Don't mind delay, playing music only. Issue is reliability - occasionally hangs

There's ways to manually do the same functionality this app does yourself on the command line. Isn't it frustrating when people release a beta version with no source code, and put a release date for the release date, then disappear and never update the project? This seems to happen a lot with third party Sonos apps. Same thing happened to Budgie Stream. As for an alternative, try apps like Nicecast maybe. Or learn the command line utils to easily script it yourself.

SonoAir is just a UI above https://github.com/philippe44/AirConnect - so you can use this on the commandline directly. In my case I have started it on raspberry so I have the airupnp dropdowns directly on my Mac without starting AirPlay on the background, quite handy acually!
