WebView version information is not updated in APP

Steps to reproduce

Expected behavior

WebView version should be 15.0.4.312

Actual behavior

Screenshot_20240716_035058 Updated the system browser version, but it's still an old version in the app, and there are a bunch of issues with this version 14.0.2.309. What can I do to make the app recognize the new browser version?

As mentioned yesterday in the Mihon Discord support channel, it should just work. Maybe you have two different versions installed on your device & you haven't selected the right one in your Phone Settings > Developer Options?

Seems to swap/recognize the correct WebView (on my end) immediately after changing the WebView version in the Developer Settings

I got the difference between the Huawei browser version and the webview control wrong, the latest version of the Huawei webview has a number of issues that cause cloudflare to validate frequently, and you can only go back to the factory settings in order to change the webview version information within the app. The issue has been resolved, so this question is closed.
