Steps to reproduce

open Global Search or Browse Search
type something
press enter to trigger search

Expected behavior

search

Actual behavior

automatically selects the back button and exits out of the screen (even tho search was successfully triggered)

r6808 and 0.16.5

Other details

this is possibly an issue with compose, since it works as expected on non-compose forks (like yokai)
not dependent on waydroid, as can be reproduced with actual phone and keyboard
really painful during ext development/testing 😔

The workaround I tried is keeping the on-screen keyboard enabled when interacting in a text box (a bit annoying since I have to copy and paste text from my browser to Mihon). It didn't occur to other emulators like in WSA.

I have an Lenovo Duet 5 2in1 Chromebook and see this behavior whether I have the keyboard attached or unattached and working in tablet mode.
