Error/crash when trying to open a chapter

Steps to reproduce

1. Click to open a chapter

Expected behavior

1. Chapter opens

Actual behavior

At first it shows a toast saying "No static method substringAfterLast$default(Ljava...", then I tried to open some different manga even from different sources and after some attempts it crashes with the following error (see img)

There are some chapters that can be opened but i can't see a pattern
