Please add some documentation about what to do after installing the gnome extension:

I've installed it. There are no settings for the extension. How do I open smile?

https://github.com/mijorus/smile/issues/71 (from another repo altogether) talks about how to install the other smile without flatpack which will be a mess.

I also don't have flatpack, but even if I did, I have no idea how to even attempt to open smile. What keyboard button combo should I press?

:-( - because I can't inject a sad-face emoji!

After installing the extension, you'll have to make sure, that Smile flatpak is installed. Then head on to your shortcuts and set a custom shortcut with a command like this flatpak run it.mijorus.smile. I hooked it to Super + . Very convenient.

PS: forgot a smiley 😉
