Clipper not working anymore in Brave #381

Hi,

Until recently the MaoXian-clipper was working perfectly but in Brave not anymore. It was greyed out because Brave thought it was suspicious but after activating it again and a restart, it is still not working. There is just no frame being displayed to clip something. In Firefox however I have no issues. Anyone experiencing the same?

Did MaoXian disabled again by Brave browser?

So MaoXian was enabled? How did you start the clipping process, click the dropdown menu or press the shortcut? The key binding about startClip might lost on version 0.7.0

And Google is killing all Manifest V2 browser extensions. This is the reason why MaoXian get disabled. We are going to upgrade to Manifest V3 in a week or two. But we need to test it first.

If you're interested, try belowing test version:

WARNING: Do NOT downgrade to a lower version if you've installed it.

No, MaoXian was not disabled again. So I tried the test version you offered me. Perfect! Everything is working again. Thanks a lot for your effort. Keep up the good work!

OK I've publish the first Manifest v3 version (v0.7.70). Note that you should install it manually because the test version v0.7.10 won't auto update to the new versions.
