Developers using only one comment syntax (or changing rarely) would probabaly be helped if Todo provided a couple of presets. Selecting the syntax in a dropdown, instead of typing the regular expression, is not as powerful but a lot easier.

Why to not activate the detection of all existing type of comments by default ? Then all users will be satisfied.
