FPS Drops with XBMC Boblight (not boblightd) on OpenElec #82

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install any OpenElec Version > 4.0.0
2. Adalight with Arduino Uno
3. Install boblightd (everythings fine till here)
4. Install XBMC Boblight (FPS Drops ~3-5 frames)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Watching Movies stuttering with XBMC Boblight installed. Massive FPS Drops.

What hardware are you running XBMC on? The boblight plugin in XBMC has to read 
videoframes back from the gpu, this is quite slow on a lot of hardware.
