That's fantastic news! I am one of these.
I stayed at Petite Auberge via Expedia for $155.55/night, and a Southwest Airlines ticket to Oakland for $450.50.
total: $761.60
If the conf wanted to help cover costs of my AirBNB (four nights, 66GBP which is around USD110 a night) it would be super. If not that's cool too. I can forward invoice to Mikeal privately.
This is great news! :) I have a flight from Florence Italy which came in around 940 USD and 4 nights AirBnB weighing in at 680 USD. Anything you can do to help is appreciated.
Look forward to seeing you all soon.
Cheers!

Airfare MDT<->SFO $338 King George Hotel, 3 nights $388
Any help you can provide is appreciated, but not expected. Thanks!
Mike,
Just wondering how this panned out. Did I miss the boat? No worries if I did - it happens a fair bit - I'm usually pretty tardy when it comes to expenses.
Thanks for the great event BTW. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ticket sales have increased a bit over the last week and we've now got a little buffer over the "break even" cost of running JSFest.
Anyone who had to cover their own travel costs please post them in this thread and next week once we're all done with ticket sales and any other incidental costs I can pay back whatever we've got left :)
