dedicated blocks pigeon-hole people into categories #7

Instead of talking about what speakers think is important and worth talking about, blocks ensure that people who have already talked about a topic and become known for talking about a topic continue to talk about the same topic, wasting everybody's time and stagnating the dialog with content that everybody has already seen.

Stop planning so much.

the purpose of the blocks is to put the people talking about similar topics together so they can reduce overlap and build on each other's talks.

i agree that it gets daunting being put in the same block over and over again, which is why I just asked you in the other thread what you'd like to talk about.

For what it's worth, I got dumped^h^h^h^h^h^hselected for the debugging group. That's definitely putting me out of my comfort zone. :neckbeard: Happy to switch if you'd like to.
