Great stuff there, procedural generation of terrains is definatley the smart way to go these days, make use of some of those s[pare CPU/GPU cycles!!
Look forward to seeing more!

Ye looks like it will be good once its done. A ROAM based approach means fewer polys which in turn = faster game :)
