Today before class I was talking about how Micro$oft was the famously evil company in the 1990s/2000s among computer programmers, and that there was even a movie where M$ was murdering their competitors to maintain their market position. That movie is called Antitrust. It's not particularly good as a movie (6.1/10 stars on IMDB), but it's great from a historical perspective at showing how programmers viewed Micro$oft back in the day. There's a lot of hype today about the evils of Google/Facebook, but open source programmers have been talking about these problems from the beginning, and the problems are not at all just limited to social media companies.
