You can earn up to 4 points of extra credit by performing the same analysis from the Twitter MapReduce assignment, but on a different set of keywords that are not related to coronavirus.
Rules:
You may not collaborate with anyone else on this extra credit.
You should create an entirely new repo for this project.
The keywords you select should be "interesting" for some reasons. I'm happy to chat about what interesting means.
It will be relatively hard to get the full 4 points of extra credit, and I expect the median credit award to be +2
points.
Due Date: Tuesday, 13 Feb at midnight (same as the Twitter Coronavirus homework). Submit by emailing me the url to your repo.
Why?
Recall that students who took CSCI46 with me have already completed the Twitter Coronavirus homework assignment. Several students have asked to be able to recomplete the assignment for more points or to review the material.
Even though this extra credit is designed with my prior students in mind, everyone is eligible for this extra credit.
