Overall looks good, and I like the colorscheme fixes especially.

I'd still recommend making the following small (bullets 1-4) and not-so-small (5) changes:

  1. The title shouldn't have bold/non bold text, make it all the same.
  2. Your logos in the bottom right should use all the same format (either all square or all rectangular); since you have so many institutions, you should make them all square to fit; you can find the pitzer/scripps square logos on their wikipedia pages: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitzer_College https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scripps_College
  3. The "Our paper!" in the bottom left should still have a call to action verb like "download"
  4. There's still lots of weird spacing around the figures; the top figure in each column looks fine, but the bottom figure is right next to the text, which looks crowded
  5. I think I may have steered you all in the wrong direction with my "increase the font size" suggestion. In particular:
    1. It looks like you've had to cut quite a bit of the text, and the new versions of the text have a lot of awkward (to me) wording. Basically each of the sentences that introduces a figure feels ungrammatical to me
    2. The font size of your main text and figures is very different, which feels unbalanced.
    3. The smaller dataset table feels less informative to me than the one with more rows So based on this, I recommend going back to how you had things earlier. (Sorry about that, and also sorry that you probably don't have this in version control... but maybe this will help inspire a "put everything in git" mentality in you all)

If you'd like me to take another look, I'd be able to Sunday evening. But you should also feel free to get it printed without my review if you'd like.
