window flicker #13

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. when changing window controls, e.g., sliders, resulting in call to display 
the window content will 
flicker, examples: color picker 3

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- no flicker, i.e., double buffering

Gail: Windows doesn't do double-buffering.  This has nothing to do with CCL or 
Cocotron.  I believe we 
discussed this very issue before starting the project, and you agreed that your 
team will take responsibility for 
this and any other OpenGL platform incompatibilities.

Does flicker still exist with Windows 7?

See Cocotron issue 491 where another user has noticed severe flickering in 
OpenGL views.  I'll track the 
Cocotron issue to see if any progress is made and if it affects XMLisp.
