COS source code for the Pixel is available here. You can build it yourself and flash it for free, only thing that isn't available to the general public without buying straight from COS at the moment are signed updates, so you'll have to rebuild and reflash every so often.
Still, worth it if it gets that guy off your back.
Great thanks a lot. I'm going to do that. Will have been my first build. I am going to pair it with a hotspot I found that has the modem separate from the CPU.
Has anyone here tried the build instructions here, for Mission Improbable, on a Pixel device? It seems like it might work. Definitely would like to do it if possible.

Haven't tried myself but would also love to try this out on sailfish.
Any news about pixel devices ?
I have a Pixel XL and I am in serious need of a more secure OS. I've got a seemingly obsessed hacker who has nothing better to do than infect my families phones and use SS7 or similar to make noises during our phone calls. (TMI maybe there)
I know that CopperheadOS has not been released for the masses on the Pixel platform yet and it will be a pay product, but if I'm not mistaken the source code is supposed to be available. (perhaps not completely, that part was unclear to me)
