[High priority] Improved error handling #26

There are a few classes of errors we don't handle at all right now. Most? (I think all, but need to check) of these involve misuse of commands, none of them should involve API errors. This is a blocker on the first beta.

We're handling them now, but there should probably be more to this later in terms of command-specific handling for clarity
