Thonny issue #32

Hi I am Thonny 4.1.3 and trying to install 'micropython-umqtt.simple' but each time I get the following error message in the Thonny package manager dialogue box.

install --progress-bar off micropython-umqtt.simple PROBLEM IN THONNY'S BACK-END: Exception while handling 'install_distributions' (AssertionError). See Thonny's backend.log for more info. You may need to press "Stop/Restart" or hard-reset your MicroPython device and try again.

Process ended with exit code 1.

Can anyone please help?
