I see searching in the screenshot tour but it is not available to me. Any suggestions? I have downloaded the latest version.

This feature seems to have disappeared after the latest update to the IOS apps and also the Roku app. It is currently still available on the Andoid app and also the Kindle FIre TV app at time of writing. I am assuming that something got broke with the latest updates of these apps. I really miss this feature, and hope that the developer can fix what is an awesome channel.

Looks like it's to do with the iOS app, nothing to do with the channel itself. Notice there's no search options for any channels in the new iOS app.

According to an employee of PLEX, the new API used for the new PLEX Roku channel requires a complete rebuild of the Search feature. The old code is no longer able to be used. They indicate that Search is being worked on at this time. However, the older channel is available as a private channel called "PLEX Classic". You'll have to find the link. Until Search is implemented, sticking with the older 'classic' channel is what is necessary for those who depend on the Search feature.

Thanks for the update. There appears to be an issue with the "settings" option too. This no longer appears under the new api version interfaces. I have installed the Classic interface on the Roku and this will get me by for now.

Thanks & Regards,

Alan Bell

Looks like I'll have to go over the new channel API docs. Thanks for the info.

@mikew; Once the back-end Search code, et al, for the new Roku PLEX channel is done by PLEX, it SHOULD work with your current SS-Plex channel code. Your channel should not have to change, other than possible tweaks.
