i am having the same issue. I actually just setup a Plex server about 6 months ago and learned about this about 4 months ago and it has never really worked correctly. I just downloaded it again to retry it last week. I have Plex running on Ubuntu, I have the latest version of Plex and Ubuntu. I have WGET and CURL installed. The Plex account is in the admin group. I am not getting any specific errors though. Its just basically timing out.
Try running with a VPN, it could potentially be your internet provider.
I'm brand new to ss-plex and found the same thing. As I poked around I found that most of the shows and movies that I was trying to get were showing as having 0 sources.
It appears that the sources come from a server with IP address 162.243.44.238 hardcoded into ss-plex. Is it possible that there's a better server to get this data from?
Sadly no, there's only one server and it is in desperate need of updates for new sources / aggregates but I just haven't had a chance to do any maintenance.
@mikew any chance on getting updates for ss-plex? Thanks in advance. This is my go-to and only app.. i'm resorting to manually search and download (the old way haha) into plex. I miss the streams. Thanks!
Hi mike:
About a week ago I started running into an issue where I could not stream most shows and movies. Only some of the new releases would play. I poured over the logs but am stumped. Any chance you can take a look at the attached log and give me some advice?
