Help downloading from Bobx #791

Hello, first of all a very big thank you for this. I am new to this and am trying to download a gallery. Please tell me how do i download the gallery from bobx. I already downloaded the standalone version of this and it works (I tried using "gallery-dl --help") command and it shows all the help. I even tried running a download command to download from bobx but it displayed the error. I am not sure how to download a gallery from bobx. I am not able to download high res pictures. Please someone explain the steps how to download them. I tried reading several posts here about setting session cookie, config file but i couldnt understand a thing. I am new to all this. Please someone help me so that i can too understand how to download.

Here are the screenshots, i tried running, but both of them ended in some error. Please help thank you

Can you open that site in your browser? Error message says it got a timeout opening the site. I can't open it in my browser, too. Maybe it's temporarily down?

Edit: Loaded after a few tried, maybe you need to retry, too.

Yeah i am able to open that site in my browser. I tried again on gallery-dl but it does not work again. Am i doing everything right? Are the commands right?

The second command is right and works for me. Probably something on their end or maybe your antivirus blocking the connection?

But it's nothing to do with the command or gallery-dl itself.

Yeah, it seems like BobX ignores the first few HTTP requests and just doesn't send anything back.

Try setting a lower HTTP timeout (default is 30s) so gallery-dl retries a bit earlier, and maybe also increase the amount of allowed retries: gallery-dl --http-timeout 5 --retries 20 http://www.bobx.com/av-idol/maki-hojo/
