Open Source Codebase Tools - Any recommendations?

Let's add a few automated tools to a) improve the quality of our code and b) experiment with the cutting edge. This ticket is assigned to me, as the admin of the repository - easy for me to add these services. Consider changing this repository into an organization before doing so.

Does anyone else have a recommendation for any other tooling they would suggest? Right now we are running automated deployment of the front-end through AWS Amplify, but I'm open to changing that. Would prefer not to have a bunch of different services billing me though. Free tiers to start with only.

• [x] Snyk Open Source - automatically detect vulnerabilities and accelerate 'fixing' throughout your development process. From a security conscious perspective, this could help surface bad code/unsafe code.
• [x] Deepsource fast and reliable static analysis platform, to monitor your code, find bugs, anti-patterns and security issues.
• [x] Turborepo - high performance build system for JS and TS monorepos. Right now, our repository here is mostly for React. However, perhaps we should consolidate our backend repositories into one repo, and convert to a mono-repo. Doesn't really make sense to have 6 different micro-services spread out. Harder to maintain.
• [ ] Replay - a time travel debugger. Similar to LogRocket it seems, but more focused on the code it seems.
• [ ] Unleash - open source feature flagging. Could be useful as we standardize to a better dev=>main release system, can hide features behind feature flags. Equally good option: https://www.growthbook.io

Now using three of these - the others, that are unchecked - are either not useful to use at the time of writing, or are incompatible (currently) with our software architecture. Closing!
