Problem with imported albums characters: åäö #3

When I import the albums I have problems with the characters åäö.

I'm using Wordpress 3.0.4...

For example, på becomes pu00e5...

Also in this album all pictures but one is broken: http://picasaweb.google.com/patrikwe/FiskeresaMedLudde

Yes, I knew encoding is going to an issue. I will take a look over the weekend and try to fix that issue

It was'nt easy... Is it something with UTF-16? I think javascript always are encoded in UTF-16?

tried all sorts of things, but I could not get this solved. Will try a bit more once I have some spare time.

The problem i see is that WP does not saves contents of the post in UTF-8. May be because i have some custom post filter, may be for other reasons.
