I think blocking movement after the trap is triggered could be a bit annoying.
It's only blocking for a little while. Enemy treats it like a door and kills it anyways. If the situation is where the enemy retreats and the trap is still erect. The imps will come and fix in under a 30 seconds. So either way it's short time span.
But if you want, it can be a trap the self resets in 10 turns. Which will shorten the time span and rely less on imps trying to get to it. Plus you have a chance to save the trap during combat.

You have a few options with this: A. Whatever unit was on trap is dealt damage and pinned in place like a web trap and can't attack trap, but can attack nearby units. B. Same; but can Attack trap. C. Whatever unit was on trap is dealt damage and pushed to 1 side and free to move/attack as normal. (direction of push doesn't matter.)
PS: The only physical moving trap now is the boulder trap. I would love to strategize with more traps.
