Hi,

gnome-mplayer is totally awesome, but I cant get it to work properly on
FreeBSD. It would be really cool if there would be a FreeBSD Port.

Just as follow up:

gnome-mplayer is now in the official FreeBSD Ports :)

Would you consider adding gecko-mediaplayer as well, and maybe even removing
mplayerplug-in?

I'm not a commiter, but I'll contact the one who commited gnome-mplayer, maybe 
he
will also do gecko-mediaplayer.
