I propose a solution where the timetracker notifies you when not tracking time, and allows you to add the time that you've been inactive, to a new or existing task. How's that?
Exactly what I meant but didn't say. :-)
Awesome :)
Waiting on rogerwang/node-webkit#251 .. might use https://github.com/robrighter/nw-desktop-notifications
@miklschmidt I noticed your ping on node-webkit and wanted to make sure you knew that nw-desktop-notifications suffers from the same taskbar icon issue. The author of that library has noted that he is also waiting on 251 to be fixed.
@sonicsnes i gathered as much from the issue thread. But thank you for the heads up!
fixed in 0.3.1
This is sort of counter intuitive. The session timer is a way to see how much time you would have put in if you left your desk and went home (that's what i use it for). If it adds time not tracked on any task, it will defeat this purpose. I propose a solution where the timetracker notifies you when not tracking time, and allows you to add the time that you've been inactive, to a new or existing task. How's that?
Further more, i've found a solution to the "today" problem, and will soon change it back. At that point the timer will show how much time you've tracked since 5 o'clock the same morning, even if you shut it down and reopen it.
