A Character should have a status, describing whether it is:

being created (not yet ready)
actively played (in game)
suspended (in game, but not played, e.g. on a bench while another is played - may return)
retired (removed from the game in some way, be it by actual retirement or untimely demise - may not return)

Since this applies only to player Characters, consider whether not attach this to CharacterSheet
