How do I even make freeplay categories? #53

I'm trying to make a Dave and Bambi mod, but freeplay categories won't work! I tried using the "normal.json" but it only shows one category. I tried adding the song name in the .json file but the freeplay category didn't show up. So, how can I make freeplay categories if these methods don't work for me?

they're a work in progress right now, also I kinda just lost motivation to keep working on this project so I only work on it when I want to rn
