I've got this working for a Yamaha RX-A720 by running YCast under OpenWRT on an ASUS RT-N16 router, but to make it work I had to reconfigure OpenWRT's Luci web interface to listen on another port because it was blocking YCast's use of port 80. To do this, I edited the /etc/config/uhttpd file to tell Luci to listen on another port by changing the 'list listen_http' entries to point to the other port (8080 in this case).
I also had trouble installing YCast from the .whl file. The installation would hang at the downloading of the Pillow package, so I manually installed all the dependency packages, and then the YCast .whl file installed successfully.
