Describe the bug
If the palette value is forced on "color" (and probably 'black' as well) while GPU not supporting palette changes will cause the game to crash.
To Reproduce
have a gpu that doesnt support the shaders
modify the palette value via options
Expected behavior
Game should not crash, but go back to a default value.

1.3, no idea if it happens in 1.4.2 as well.
