cannot undo

Problem description

when undoing the deletion of a cell, emacs returns No further undo information

Steps to reproduce the problem

insert a cell, enter something, kill it using C-c C-k, and try to undo it using C-c u.

remarks:

• my .emacs file has only one line (setq ein:worksheet-enable-undo t)
• undoing seems to fail even if I restart emacs and my notebook server
