Need to make facets more effective #12

We need to make facets more effective and useful for users. Some ideas:

  1. take them off the homepage if not very useful, only have them in search results or through advanced search
  2. clean up metadata to make facets more effective
  3. use solrconfig file to improve them
  4. add/remove facets that are working well/not well

Also I don't want to have facets showing up in the search that are not also present on the item detail page. (Example--format shows up as facet but isn't present on detail pages.)
