Adapt build_industry_sector_ratios.py Cement (pre-processing existing biomass + kilns). What about H2 as option (cleaner exhaust more suitable for CC?)? Steam processing: pulp production, paper production, food, transport equipment, machinery, textiles, wood/wood products, other industrial sectors --> remove biomass efficiency reduction and add other options for steam supply incl. efficiencies in prepare_sector_network.py.

Other steam options include: gas turbines, gas burners, fuel cells. See e.g. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/348416738_Focus_on_Systemlosungen_im_Warmesektor_52_Modellkonzepte_fur_eine_klimaneutrale_Warme & https://data.mendeley.com/datasets/v2c93n28rj/2

Solved in commit # 13e29a4b2e064afa4a7a5fcd4cca319cb11a7573.

Still need to adapt nomenclature in the industry scripts from biomass to process steam

Check emissions handling and adapt if solid biomass is handled as zero emission

millingermarkus commented 3 years ago

Add biomass emissions to totals in build_energy_sector_ratios.py!

millingermarkus commented 3 years ago

Biomass emissions are already included!
